Distribution Center Manager – Binh Duong

This position is responsible for leading the overall operation of MM Mega Market Distribution Center to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective warehouse operations while delivering high service levels to stores and business partners.

The DC Manager is accountable for:

• Ensure excellent day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory control.
• Deliver productivity, service level, cost, quality and inventory accuracy targets.
• Lead and develop all DC functional teams including Operations, HSSE, Quality Assurance, HR Administration and Data/System Management.
• Build a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with company policies, legal regulations and food safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse optimization and digitalization to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop organization capability and succession pipeline to support sustainable business growth.

ROLES

Warehouse Operations

• Manage end-to-end DC daily operations including Receiving, Put-away, Storage, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Loading and Dispatch.
• Ensure on-time and accurate deliveries to all MM stores.
• Monitor warehouse capacity utilization and optimize storage layout.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
• Control warehouse productivity and labor utilization.
• Optimize warehouse operating costs while maintaining agreed service levels.
• Manage peak season operation planning and execution.
• Coordinate closely with Transportation, Commercial, Replenishment, Supply Planning
• Design and define logistics network, long-term, mid-term plan, develop business case & implementation plan for warehouse & transport projects
• Develop and monitor order to delivery synchronization in order to minimize warehouse & transport cost and flatten volume of delivery to stores by setting proper delivery window
• Monitor daily operation of warehouse & transport performance as business target (service level/profitability) and minimize loss/claim
• Develop effective/professional logistics team

Safety, Security & Compliance

• Lead HSSE activities across the Distribution Center.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards.
• Maintain food safety standards and legal compliance.
• Lead accident prevention initiatives and risk assessments.
• Ensure warehouse equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
• Drive Zero Accident culture across the DC.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure product quality throughout warehouse operations.
• Manage damaged goods process and quality investigations, claim process.
• Lead internal and external audits.

HR & Admin

• Lead manpower planning and workforce optimization.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and retention of DC employees.
• Develop training plans and competency development programs.
• Build high-performance culture and employee engagement.
• Conduct performance management and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.

Data Management & Systems

• Lead DC Master Data and Warehouse System governance.
• Ensure accuracy of warehouse transactions in DC Tool and GOLD systems.
• Manage document control and operational SOPs.
• Develop operational KPI reporting.
• Support warehouse digitalization and system enhancement projects.
• Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Financial

• Develop and manage DC operating budget.
• Monitor warehouse operating expenses and productivity.
• Analyze operational KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Deliver annual productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure achievement of service level, inventory and financial KPIs.

People Leadership

• Lead and coach warehouse management team.
• Develop supervisors and future leaders.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
• Promote company values and customer-centric mindset.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead Lean Warehouse and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Optimize warehouse layout, processes and resource utilization.
• Lead automation and technology implementation projects.
• Benchmark warehouse best practices.
• Support Supply Chain transformation initiatives.

Requirements:

• University degree
• More than 5-8 years’ experiences in logistic operation and Warehouse management level
• Good at commercial analysis
• Strong leadership and customer orientation
• Ability to think and plan ahead
• Clear communication
• Good in English & Computer skills
