MM Mega Market Vietnam Organizes the first “Taste of Malaysia”

On November 28th in Ho Chi Minh City, MM Mega Market Vietnam (“MMVN”) organized the event “Taste of Malaysia” with the participation of Mr. Firdauz Othman – Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, along with Assistant Trade Commissioner, Mr. Mohd Firdaus Mohammad from the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (“MATRADE”) Ho Chi Minh and the Malaysian Business Chamber in Vietnam. The “Taste of Malaysia” is part of MMVN’s “Taste of Country” series, an annual initiative showcasing the unique culinary traditions of countries from around the world. Through this series, MMVN aspires to provide Vietnamese consumers with a diverse range of nutritious and high-quality food options.

This year marks the first collaboration between MMVN, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, and MATRADE to organize the “Taste of Malaysia” program. The event will be held at 11 MMVN stores across Vietnam from November 28 to December 11, including MM An Phu, MM Binh Phu, MM Hiep Phu, MM Thang Long, MM Hung Loi, MM Da Nang, MM Hong Bang, MM Bien Hoa, MM Long Xuyen, MM Rach Gia, and MM Ha Dong. During this period, MMVN will feature hundreds of premium Malaysian culinary products such as lobster balls, fish tofu, herring in tomato sauce, bean curd in tomato sauce, milk tea, chocolate, and soft drinks. Additionally, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 27% on selected imported products. This festival provides a unique opportunity to explore the rich flavors of Malaysian cuisine while enjoying attractive shopping benefits.
