The Groundbreaking Ceremony for Da Nang MM Supercenter
On November 8, MM Mega Market (Vietnam) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Da Nang MM Supercenter, located at Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City. This is the first shopping mall in Vietnam under MM Mega Market, an FDI retailer under the BJC/Big C Group, Thailand. It is expected to officially open by the end of 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Bac, Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee, said: “The supercenter is in line with the sustainable strategic development for the Northwest of Lien Chieu District, as well as meets the increasing shopping demands of local residents. We will actively support the MM Supercenter project, as well as creating favorable conditions for MM Mega Market to enhance trade in Da Nang City.”
Da Nang MM Supercenter is located in a key development area of Da Nang City, according to the city’s planning project for the period 2021-2030, with a vision of 2050. This area serves as a convenient gateway for trade with the bus station, and deep-water port, and is adjacent to large industrial zones. Specifically, this supercenter is located to the Southeast adjacent to Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, to the Northwest adjacent to Tran Van Ky Street, to the Southwest adjacent to Le Doan Nha Street, and the Northwest adjacent to the planning road in Lien Chieu District.

With a total area of approximately 19,197sq.m regulated by the detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500, the shopping mall project is designed according to environmentally friendly guidelines, using recyclable materials and energy-saving. In addition, the shopping mall has a synchronized architectural solution and harmony in color, creating an architectural highlight that brings freshness and youth to Nguyen Sinh Sac Street and fits the overall planning orientation of Da Nang City.
The project still ensures other factors such as load-bearing safety, fire-fighting prevention, environment, traffic, technical infrastructure, etc. With a combination of services from supermarkets, cinemas, dining areas, and entertainment, the Da Nang MM Supercenter will contribute to creating more job opportunities and promoting economic growth; at the same time, improving the daily quality of life of people in Da Nang City.
