MM Mega Market continues to cooperate with Foreign Agricultural Service – United States Department of Agriculture to showcase U.S. food and beverages with “United Tastes”

On August 3rd in Ho Chi Minh City and August 4th in Ha Noi, MM Mega Market Vietnam (MMVN) continually partners with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service (USDA/FAS) to hold the opening ceremonies of “United Tastes – Khám Phá Mỹ Vị Hoa Kỳ” at MM An Phu and MM Thang Long to promote U.S. foods and beverages. The opening event has the participation of the Senior Agricultural Attaché Andrew Anderson at the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Agricultural Counselor Ralph Bean at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi.

This is a part of the “United Tastes – Khám phá Mỹ Vị Hoa Kỳ” series, the annual largest celebration exclusively designed by USDA/FAS for the Vietnam market. It aims to inspire Vietnamese customers to experience U.S. gastronomy culture and high-quality U.S. food and beverages, as well as strengthen Vietnam-U.S. relations.

United Tastes introduces the U.S. food and beverages

Over 27 years since the normalization of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the establishment of Vietnam – the U.S. comprehensive partnership, the United States (the U.S.) has been recognized as one of the largest trade and investment partners of Vietnam. In 2022, the bilateral trade revenue between the two countries reached $123.91 billion, increasing by 11% from the previous year. While the U.S. remains the second largest importer of Vietnamese products, according to USDA, Vietnam was the ninth largest export market for U.S. agricultural products, reaching $3.9 billion in 2022.

The “United Tastes – Khám phá Mỹ vị Hoa Kỳ” will be organized at our MM Mega Market’s nationwide stores from August 3rd to August 17th, introducing U.S. products and cuisine to Vietnamese residents through 60 well-known brands such as HERITAGE, Bristol, Hormel, Campbell, Heinz, Lay’s, Budweiser, and Quaker with mega discounts of up to 30%. The event will also feature special promotions, food sampling, and cooking demonstrations. Especially, a cooking competition with U.S. chicken will be kicked off on August 11th at MM An Phu, aiming to aspire semi-professional chefs and home cooks across Vietnam to sharpen their skills and create wholesome dishes with U.S. ingredients.
