Group Category Manager – Central Kitchen

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences in both B2B and B2C sectors.
  • Collaborate with the research and development team to conceptualize and launch innovative food products tailored to market demands.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to promote central kitchen products and services effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and clients to ensure favorable terms.
  • Monitor production efficiency and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the commercial team to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on financial performance and business operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably in the Food Production or Food Retail.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans effectively.
  • Proficiency in using business management and financial software.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Passion for bakery and delicatessen products is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Customer-focused, attention to details and a commitment to maintaining products quality & safety.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English languages (both written and oral)

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Expertise in product development and innovation for B2B and B2C markets.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS: Achievement of Commercial KPI’s :

  • Sales, total profitability, stock KPIs, Private label Share.
  • Manage the performance of a defined product category effectively in terms of pricing, promotion, products assortment, quality of products, planning and allocation.
  • Working with business partners for products sourcing, launching in time.

 

WORK LOCATION: Lot B, An Phu – An Khanh New Residential, An Phu Ward, District 2

 

WORKING TIME: 8:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
