Category Manager – Bakery

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet business goals and revenue targets.
– Leverage insights from market research on consumer trends and competitors’ activities
– Optimize costs through supplier negotiations, production efficiency and budget management. Monitor KPIs for sales, profitability, and stock turnover.
– Support the Operation/production team to enhance productivity.
– Build innovative product portfolios by collaborating with Bakery specialist & business partners to launch successful SKUs tailored to evolving demands in B2B & B2C.
– Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle management, including recipe standardization, quality control, and timely launches in partnership operations team.
– Support Operation team to follow QA, Loss prevention’s guidance in term of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
– Coordinate with related dept to ensure the category development plan with 5Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, People) following company’s strategic direction

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Experience: 5+ years in commercial management (food production/retail). Proven success in product launches and P&L oversight.
– Proven track records in a commercial managerial role in the Food Retail.
– Strong financial acumen, analytical, and negotiation skills.
– Strategic planning and execution abilities.
– Proficiency in business management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Fluency in Vietnamese and English.

 

WORK LOCATION: Lot B, An Phu – An Khanh New Residential, An Phu Ward, District 2

WORKING TIME: 8:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
