Category Manager – B’s Mart
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Strategy & Planning:
– Develops and implements strategies Products to BSM format inline with the company strategy and customize to satisfy customer needs.
– Continuously seek opportunities to improve store sales and profitability; propose and implement changes where appropriate.
– Collaborate with Customer Management to build and maintain the Pricing Strategy for assigned categories.
– Working with Customer Management, develop and maintain the Pricing Strategy for the Category.
– Ensure that the Pricing.
– Develop and implement merchandise strategies for BSM format aligned with B’s Mart’s overall business direction and tailored to customer needs.
*Sales, Merchandise & Financial:
– Drive achievement of key commercial KPIs: Sales, Cash Margin, Statistical Margin, Later Income, Old Stock, Potential Old Stock, Stock Rotation, Stock Days, Own Brand Share, Core Customer Share, Stock Correction & Availability.
– Effectively manage category performance across pricing, promotion, product assortment, quality, planning, and allocation.
– Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and product/range opportunities.
– Work closely with the Customer Management Team to ensure the assortment reflects the needs of the Core Target Group.
– Develop a competitive range assortment that strengthens B’s Mart’s position in the Vietnam market.
– Coordinate with Supply Chain to identify the most efficient and cost-effective delivery methods to stores.
– Work with the SRD team to design and implement planograms that optimize space allocation and product visibility.
– Regularly review article performance to identify and resolve issues related to aging stock.
*People Management:
– Supervise and guide JCMs in implementing company practices and processes aligned with B’s Mart’s core values.
– Promote initiatives that optimize resources and enhance business performance.
– Organize and oversee staff training and coaching programs.
– Monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and recommend appropriate recognition or development actions.
*Others:
– Ensure clear communication with Operations regarding any actions that impact customers or stores.
– Develop and implement inventory control and security systems.
– Perform other related duties as assigned to support merchandise operations and strategic goals.
REQUREMENTS:
– Experience in the FMCG sector or relevant product categories, with prior responsibility for supervising a small buying team. Preference for candidates with experience in minimart chain operations. Participation in projects related to store transformation is highly valued.
– University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or related subject.
– Show maturity characteristic when communicating with customers and colleagues.
– Integrity, dynamic, carefully and high responsibility and disciplinary.
– Fluency in Vietnamese and English languages (both written and oral)
– Customer-focused.
– Strong planning and organizational skills.
– Excellent coordination and communication with stakeholders.
– Ability to lead and develop junior team members.
– Strategic thinking with a focus on execution and results.
WORK LOCATION: Lot B, An Phu – An Khanh New Residential, An Phu Ward, District 2
WORKING TIME: 8:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
